Interdependent Approach to Therapy
All of our therapists focus on looking at their patients from a regional interdependent perspective. This approach refers to the concept that seemingly unrelated impairments in a remote anatomical region may contribute to, or be associated with, the patient's primary complaint. For example, a patient presenting with hip or knee pain would require screening of the lumbar spine and pelvis to rule out or confirm referred symptoms. Likewise, shoulder or elbow pain would require that the cervical and thoracic spines would need to be examined.
